At Halleys Tour and Travels, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent while ensuring smooth operations for all our guests exploring Kashmir — Gulmarg, Srinagar, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam.
1. Cancellation by the Traveller
If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us in writing (via email or WhatsApp). The following refund policy will apply:
- 45 days or more before travel date: 100% refund (after deducting minimal service and payment gateway charges).
- 15 to 44 days before travel date: 80% refund (after deducting service and transaction charges).
- 7 to 14 days before travel date: 50% refund will be processed.
- Less than 7 days before travel date: No refund will be provided.
👉 Note: All refunds are subject to deduction of applicable taxes, payment gateway fees, and administrative charges.
2. Cancellation by Halleys Tour and Travels
In rare cases where the company cancels a tour due to unavoidable circumstances (like natural disasters, roadblocks, or political situations), guests will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- The option to reschedule the tour to another date.
We will always prioritize guest convenience and safety in such situations.
3. No Show / Early Departure
- If a traveler fails to report at the pickup point or leaves the trip midway, no refund will be provided for the unused services.
- This also applies if hotels, cabs, or activities were pre-booked as part of the package.
4. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after receiving the cancellation request.
- Refunds are made through the same payment mode used during booking (bank transfer, UPI, or card).
- Halleys Tour and Travels is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.
5. Modifications & Date Changes
- Change of travel dates or modifications in itinerary are allowed subject to availability and must be requested at least 10 days before the scheduled departure.
- Additional costs may apply depending on hotel rates, transport availability, and seasonal price fluctuations.
6. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
No refund or compensation will be made if the tour is affected by events beyond our control such as:
- Natural calamities (snowstorms, landslides, floods).
- Road closures, curfews, or government restrictions.
- Flight or transport delays due to weather or technical reasons.
However, we will make every possible effort to assist travelers with alternate arrangements.
